Meet with a Writing Advisor Virtually
If you prefer to meet with a writing advisor online, please follow the instructions below:
How to Make a Virtual 任命
1. Go to the 理查德·赖特中心 online appointment schedule: http://jsums.mywconline.com/
If this is your first time using the center, click “Register for an account” on the left 和 complete your registration.
2. 登录.
3. Click on the drop-down menu at the top of the schedule next to the date 和 select the “Virtual 任命s” option.
4. Choose an available time slot (shown in white) 和 complete the appointment form. You may also attach your paper. 然后点击“保存”.”
建议: Write down your writing advisor’s name 和 email address shown on the appointment form. 电子邮件 the writing advisor directly if you have trouble logging into your online session.
5. 任命s must be scheduled at least an hour in advance. Please keep in mind that we use 中央标准时间.
Before the 在线 Session
- Make sure you are in a quiet place.
- Use a laptop or desktop computer rather than a cell phone.
- Test your computer’s microphone 和 camera.
How to Start an 在线 Session
- 登录to the appointment system 提前5分钟 和 click on your appointment.
- On the appointment form, click “Start 在线 Session,” 和 you will be connected with your writing advisor.
- If you have trouble logging in, reset your password. If this doesn’t help, send an email to your writing advisor.
会议结束后
You will receive an email with a request to complete a reflection form about your session. This email also serves as verification of your session.
